The Fender Jazzmaster on the left was the first electric guitar I ever bought. I love its warm, light sound, complimenting my slower more ambient tracks.

My road-worn Fender Stratocaster on the right was a gift to me and has a vibrant history that I hold close to my heart. It's a joy to play and has a diverse soundscape that slots perfectly into my looping style.

Pedals

On stage, I use a Boss RC-30 loop pedal, DD-7 Delay pedal and TU-3 chromatic tuner. Everything, including my beats, bass and looped vocals stem from the RC-30 which is connected to a PA through a d.i box, ensuring that I have control over all my effects and levels when performing.

Mics

For looped vocals I use the microphone on the left, a Peavey PV 12. It's an overall versatile mic and especially good for looping because It has a physical on/off switch to prevent spill when performing live.

I use the Shure SM58 on the right as my dry mic; it delivers a crisp clear sound ideal for verse vocals and chorus breakdowns.

Drumpads

For the looped beats and baselines, I use my iPad pro as a virtual instrument. 'Drumpads 24' is a sample pad app that lets me import any custom sample sounds and drum beats into a library, and then becomes an interactive drum machine when I perform.

For bass I customised a 'vintage bass' plugin on iPad GarageBand and loop baselines through a virtual finger-bass.
